Two weeks in Tokyo!

Hello lovely readers,
On December 26th we jet off to Tokyo, Japan.
It was incredible to say the least, it felt like a completely different world.
We had such an amazing time and I took plennnnty of pictures to capture every moment, of course, I can't put every single picture in this post but I can put up some of my favourites from the trip.

Of course, this is nowhere near all the pictures that we took on our travels.
Just some of my favourites, if you have never been to Japan but really want to go I would 100% recommend it. If you want to know some good places to visit just leave me a comment I'd happily recommend some amazing places!

Thanks for reading

Japan's to do list

Hello lovely readers,
I have recently booked plane tickets to... JAPAN!
Me and my boyfriend are flying out on boxing day to go to Tokyo to stay with his dad for a couple of weeks and I am SO excited. I have decided to create a "to do" list, if we don't do everything it's not the end of the world however, it's just some things that I'd quite like to do while we are there.

1. Tokyo new year's fireworks
As I said we are flying out to japan on boxing day which means we are lucky enough to be spending the new year. In Japan they take their new year celebrations very seriously and have some amazing fireworks displays (i've heard). Going to see one of these fireworks displays is an absolute must!

2. Disneyland Tokyo
It doesn't matter how old I am I'll always want to visit a Disneyland when I can. My goal in life is to actually visit every disneyland there is.. wait what? Yours isn't?
This is something I am extremely keen on doing so hopefully I will be able to book up some tickets!

3. Animal themed cafe
Yes, you read that title correctly.
Tokyo has a range of different "animal cafe's" and honestly I can't say I've ever been to anything of the sort before, so I'm all for trying new things. Plus who doesn't love dining with a bunny?

4. Attend some karaoke bars
Everyone loves karaoke, and in Tokyo they have a lot of crazy bars that are all about the karaoke!
My boyfriend has visited before of course and says that we have to do this, and of course I am 100% down for it.

5. Skiing/snowboarding in Yukawa Mountains
Technically I know we are going to do this because we have already booked it, but I still wanted to add it just incase you are looking at this wanting to know good things to do!
I have never been skiing before and I am very nervous yet very excited to go.

6. Go in an Onsen pool
Again this is something that we are definitely going to do as they hotel we are staying in has these. If you are unaware of what an onsen is, it's a natural hot spring and it will be so incredible to go in after a long day on the slopes I'm sure. Way too excited for this!

7. Shopping in Tokyo
Pretty standard, I really want to just shop in the crazy markets and some of the "kawaii shops" which translates, cute shops. I think it'll be really interesting to see what's in the Japanese shops, I can definitely imagine they'll be some crazy and weird items.

8. Try some popular sushi restaurants
What's a trip to Japan without sushi!? Let's be real..
I am currently on a plant based diet so I'm looking forward to searching for some really tasty vegan sushi.

And there are of course so many other things I could go on and on.. these are the things I really hope to do whilst visiting Japan.

If you have visited and have something that you really recommend please let me know in the comments I'd love to hear them!

pictures from paradise

Hello lovely readers,
It has definitely been a while, I've been uninspired and when I don't really know what to post I don't want to just post things just for the sake of posting. I have just got back from a 20 day trip to the Dominican Republic. It was the perfect getaway and I really needed this holiday.
Whilst in this beautiful island I took a fair few pictures and felt like I wanted to share them on my blog.

Christmas Wishlist

Hello lovely readers,

As it's kind of nearing the end of november, not really but whatever. I decided that now would be an acceptable time to make a "christmassy" style blogpost. I know, too soon?

There is nothing I love more than this time of year.
As I mentioned in my previous post, I love festive seasons and anything I can go all out with decorations and fairy lights, i'm all for it.

So today's post I decided to show my christmas wish list.
Now of course, when you were younger it was so much more exciting whacking out the argos catalogue and circling all the toys you wanted santa to buy you, then writing out a list to the elves and santa himself up in the north pole. Obviously as you get older the things you ask for are a lot more "essential" or boring, it's still fun nonetheless.

So here goes… my christmas wish list!

1. Socks
I ask for socks every year without fail, so boring, so essential but you just can't go wrong.
I also tend to ask for fluffy socks because in the cold months these are life.

2. Perfume
To be completely honest I never, buy myself perfume.
I always wait until christmas or my birthday and then ask for one and it'll literally last me the whole year, don't ask how but it does. Last year my boyfriend kindly got me the victoria secret "eau so sexy" perfume it has lasted me all year and is almost ending which is so sad. I bought paco rabanne black xs for my mum for her birthday and i'm obsessed with it.
So i'd say that's a definite choice on my wish list.

3. Pjamas
Another obvious essential, who doesn't get pyjamas for christmas?
But seriously I just found this random picture on the internet and I actually really want these reeses pi's. Anyone know where they are sold...

4. Gold casio watch
You know there's those things that you don't want enough to buy yourself but wouldn't mind if someone else got it for you. Yep, this is one of those things.
I have had my original black one for about 2 years and I wear it constantly, I've always really wanted the gold one so maybe someone will maybe hopefully get it for me for christmas.. or not.

5. Twilight special edition (Life and death) book.
I went through a crazy obsession with twilight when it first came out, like crazy.
I saw this in asda a few weeks ago and so nearly bought it but I then thought, christmas is coming up so it's something that I could just ask for. I really do hope someone get's me this though, I really want to read it.

6. Gold hoop earrings
I haven't been wearing earrings recently because I don't have any nice ones and fake metal earrings have really been hurting my ears, I have never had this problem before so it's so strange. I really like wearing small hoops so some nicer ones would be a great christmas gift!

7. Victoria secret body mists
These mists, are amazing.
They also last such a long time which is fabulous and the smell soooo good.
I went into victoria secret recently and the packing had changed for all the mists however the old style was the only one that came up when I searched for images, so i'm confused to whether they've changed the packaging or not. Irrelevant but YAS.

8. Yankee candles
I've currently got "christmas treats" burning right now.. again, too soon?
Its smells so yummy. I definitely need a few more sweet scents.

9. Mac mineralised skin finish
I have wanted a mac mineralised skin finish for a while but I am terrible at trying to make my mind up on which one I'd want to get. I am so indecisive, hopefully I can make my mind up so I can ask for one this christmas.

10. Nike free runs 5.0

An excuse to get back to the gym, right?
I've always loved these but never wanted to spend the money on them although I know it'd be totally worth it.

And as of right now that's all I can come up with, I'm sure i'll think of plenty more things though.
Obviously this wish list i'd say is pretty realistic things that I hope if I asked for I'd actually receive.
I know a wish list can be things that you just wish you had but weren't expecting to get it all, as it's all super expensive. Whereas in this I've only included a couple of items that'd be classes as "more expensive".

I hope this wasn't too boring and that maybe it gave you some inspiration on a gift you want to receive, or want to give to somebody. I'm hoping to do quite a few festive blogposts in december as i've been slacking like crazy with my blog, honestly I really want to try to up my blogposts because I really enjoy doing them.

Let me know what you are wishing for christmas in the comments :)
