The results of boxing day sales and gift cards!

Hello lovely readers,
As mentioned in my last blogpost I received a variety of gift cards for christmas, and what a more suiting time to go shopping after christmas taking advantage of the sales!
With discussion with my mum we decided to go to Stratford Westfield as it's an easy hop on the train. Whilst at Westfield we stopped at various shops all of them being extremely rammed and slightly chaotic, However, I still managed to purchase some lovely pieces.

Scalloped tee-Topshop (£8 in the sales.)

Baseball style tee-Topshop (£8 in the sales.)

Black high waisted Joni jeans-Topshop (£36 not in the sales.)

So of course the first shop we went to was topshop!
All in all I had £50 to spend in topshop due to the amount of gift vouchers I had been given for christmas. I knew I wanted to get the jeans so these were the first things I "ran" for, joni jeans are definitely the most comfortable jeans i've ever worn and I sort of want every single coloured denim of these jeans. The tops were on sale and I saw them both, tried them on, and decided I wanted both so I spent an extra £2 on top of the gift vouchers (worth it!)

Off the shoulder dark floral crop top-Topshop(£12 in the sales.)

Black and grey shift/skater style dress- River Island (£12 in the sales.)

We also went into river island, there were so many items that were half the price in the sales but I got these two items. The crop top I thought would be a possible part of an outfit for new years eve, I would probably pair it with my high waisted jeans from topshop!
As for the dress I have stumbled across it many of times in my local river island and I was pretty happy to come across it in the sales for more than half the price. I got it in a size small and it still seems to be quite long which bugs me a little(only fault), I had to get it though I knew i'd regret it if I didn't.
Both items were reduced to an amazing price, i could not resist.

Navy knitted rollneck jumper- Forever21 £10(in the sales)   ps: not sure why the lighting went so yellow.

Light grey skater style dress- Forever21 (£10- not too sure if this was a sale item I don't think it was)

I always like to go into Forever21 when I go to bigger shopping centres as we don't have one in my local shopping centre. I usually tend to pick up jewellery items rather than clothing, However, this time round I found these two clothing items both £10 which I think are complete bargains for both!
The first thing being the navy roll neck which is a lot like the grey one I already have, I absolutely adore this style of jumper at the moment and with the weather being this cold, they are essential!
I also got this light grey skater style dress which I wasn't planning on buying, my mum saw it whilst I was in the que waiting to pay for my jumper, bit of an impulse buy but I'm so happy I bought it.
I am a fan of the skater style dress and this one is really flattering.

Light pink/peach jumper- H&M (£14.99 not in the sales)

Last clothing item, H&M.
I didn't really find anything in the sales at h&m which is upsetting because I usually do find a lot of clothing items there. I currently have so many jumpers from there, I don't know why I just always find jumpers that I like. This one I particularly liked, mostly because of the colour and the collar it is quite a high collar, it looks like it's inside out because of the seams but it's actually how the jumper was designed!
I also really like how it dips lower at the back.

Nike Air Max Thea's- (£85 not in the sales)

Yep, probably my favourite purchase my nike thea's.
I had my £30 schuh gift voucher and I decided to treat myself, I've been wanting some nike trainers for a while but haven't been able to decide on which style I really wanted.
I've seen the nike thea's but in different colours, red, mint green, I wanted a colour that would go with most of my clothes and when I saw these I knew straight away I was going to get them. I also only had to pay £55 which may still seem a lot but I probably would've paid full price on them because I wanted them so much. They are ridiculously comfortable and I highly recommend if you want to get some nikeys!!

That concludes everything I got on my post christmas shopping trip!
I was going to do this as a kind of lookbook with pictures of me actually in the clothes and pairing it with things I think I'd would wear with them.
If you would like that please let me know in the comments as it would be great to have feedback!

My christmas day in a blogpost

Hello lovely readers,
I hope everyone had a joyful christmas, spent time with family, and got everything they asked for. I don't know about anybody else but as the years go on and I'm getting older I don't feel the same excitement for christmas as I used to, although I do love the lead up to christmas this year didn't quite feel the same and the day went so quickly. Pushing all that aside I did have a lovely christmas with my family and got lots of things which I am very grateful for. I didn't ask for a single thing from my parents this year as last year they got my macbook pro and i'd pretty much ask for that every single year. Just so happens my mum knows me very well and got me lots of little things she knew i'd love!

Every year me and my two sisters get sacks with our presents in, we don't get stockings. I don't know why that's just never been our tradition we have always just had all of our presents in sacks.

Although i'm not the biggest fan of quality streets… HOW CUTE. (a tiny tin of quality street)

*basic bitch picture of presents*

I love a good gift voucher for christmas (i've already spent my £50 topshop and Schuh one today whoops) oh and I love how my mum got me a nandos gift card.

Lush bubble bar in snow fairy, so cute and smells so good. Can't wait to have a bath using this!

I get socks every year but this year I just got so many, and the cosy kind. Yep who's the real winner here, me.

Seventeen make up set, I love getting little sets like this to try new things. I particularly like the eyelash curler as it's one I have never very seen before, not your ordinary eyelash curler but I love it.

this is a pretty perfect present if you ask me, spa day for 2.. yes please!

Also adding in presents from the boyfriend, these two beautiful Swarovski pieces along with matching earrings. I really wish the pictures did them more justice they are so sparkly and pretty, I love.

The "eau so sexy" perfume from victoria secret which I am so extremely happy about and it smells and amazing and it's just perfect. (the bottle is also incredibly pretty)

This gorgeous silk cami and shorts nightwear set from boux avenue. I absolutely love red and black lace so these are just perfection.

I was in desperate need for a new bag and this i was pleasantly surprised with the one my boyfriend picked for me. It's faux leather with a panel of velvet in the middle and gold detailing. Couldn't have picked a better bag for me. This was from H&M.

excuse all the toys in the background(mums a childminder). My christmas day outfit wasn't really very christmassy this year, pink is the new red. I have on a denim shirt which is actually from a charity shop and it was like £3 not gonna lie i love it.
Pink jumper- H&M around £12-£15 i can't remember
skirt- Topshop i think it may have been 20 something but i honestly can't remember very sorry.
Chelsea boots- topshop £42
Christmas tree Glasses- Primark

Ridiculously cool glasses paisley.

CHRISTMAS DINNER.. (although I don't like brussels peas or carrots super healthy, i know.)

How we all feel after our christmas dinner.

after a "couple" of alcoholic beverages.. I love this photo of my mum and dad although my dad seems to have gained a few chins.

ending the night in my new comfy leopard onesie, yaaaas.

Sorry about the rather long blog post today, I took a fair few pictures on christmas day most of them not even on this post, so I wanted to use a majority of them. This was kind of a "what i got for christmas" aswell but I wanted to make it one joint post so I hope you don't mind!

I shall be posting a "post christmas buys" shortly all on things I have bought today 27th of december clothing items and shoes. I would like to ask if you would like me to make it into a sort of lookbook, so see the clothes on me and what I pair the clothes with etc, it'd be lovely to hear what you guys think and ask if you think that'd be a good idea please post a comment.

Again sorry it's such a long post thanks for sticking around and reading.

Make up faves of the month

Hello lovely people,
Today I've decided to do a blogpost on my make up faves of the month!
I thought i'd share the things that I have used most this month and have absolutely loved(they are also really really affordable)

Real techniques make up brushes (Contour brush, buffing brush, expert face brush, powder brush, stippling brush, shadow brushx2, detailer brush)

sleek contour kit (£6 ish)

Rimmel lash accelerator endless mascara (£7 ish)

Rimmel wake me up concealer (£5 ish)

Maybelline honey beige 728 lipstick (£6-£7)

Rimmel Asia lipstick 077- (£6 ish)

As you can probably tell a lot of my make up is rimmel, mainly because it's inexpensive and I love most rimmel products!

So we'll start with my real techniques brushes. I absolutely love these brushes, I think I started off with just one of them and decided to try a few more and now i'm trying to get as many of them as I can because I just can't get enough of them! Although I love them all my favourites at the moment have to be the stippling brush which is what i've been applying my foundation with, Also the expert face brush and the contour brush. You can purchase these in shops like super drug or boots and they're really well priced for such good brushes.

Next is my sleek contour kit, sleek is another make up brand I am liking at the moment I also have the sleek eyebrow kit. I feel like sleek is a great alternative to everything benefit it's just obviously a cheaper version! This contour kit is great the bronzer is extremely pigmented and the highlighter is suuuuper shimmery and glowy.. definitely had to be a fave especially as contouring is such a big thing right now!

The Lash accelerator endless mascara has been my favourite mascara for a while now, this mascara is just amazing for lengthening lashes. I also particularly like the brush in it (although that may be an unpopular opinion). I may do a separate blogpost on how well this works on my eyelashes and show so pictures with it on.

Rimmel wake me up concealer, I'm sure a fair few people use this concealer since buying this last month I have used it religiously and will probably be repurchasing this quite a lot. It gives the most perfect dewey finish and is anti fatigue which is brilliant because my eyes definitely need some lovin' when I have to wake up and put my make up on I tell you now.

Maybelline honey beige 728 lipstick, Although it's christmas time I haven't really been wearing dark/red lips, this month i've been going more for nude brown/ pinks and i've really loved how the go with whatever make up look I do (Although i mostly do brown/gold themed eyeshadow). This lipstick goes on really creamy and so easy to apply and looks so natural. It's definitely more brown toned.

Lastly, Rimmel Asia 077 lipstick. I have used this so much this month and you can definitely see by the picture how much I use it! I think it's the perfect pink toned nude lipstick although in the picture it is coming out extremely more dark pink. The only thing I dislike is that it is slightly drying on my lips when i wear it so I like to use a lip balm over the top. Other than that I have absolutely been loving this lipstick.

3 days till christmas.. who's feeling christmassy? not me.
I can't wait to take lots of pictures at christmas and make a blogpost with all of them, ee.
If you read this maybe leave a comment so I know you are that'd make me smile.

A Winter Tan!?

Winter is well and truly here, this time of the year is not so great for my pale skin and i'm sure others have the same issue! Having naturally fair skin is such a nuisance. I'd love to be tanned every day of the year but I don't have the time/patience to do this every day, however it is good if you're going out somewhere or you just feel like you want to have a darker skin day i'm going to tell you how I achieve this.

I start off in the shower, the main thing i'll focus on is exfoliating my skin removing any dead skin cells, this way when you apply your fake tan it goes on as smoothly as possible. I absolutely love soap and glory product especially the sugar crush scented products, they smell like lime goodness.

It's now time to apply your fake tan of your choice of course! Now this particular fake tan is one of the cheapest ones ever but i've literally used it for the longest time and I just love it, I also think I don't fake tan enough to buy a really expensive one. I believe this is a medium matte one. I love the glow it leaves on my skin afterwards, also super easy to apply with a fake tan mit spreads evenly and is easy to wash off aswell! Another thing that I absolutely love about this product is that it doesn't have that horrible fake tan smell it's a pina colada sort of smell so it smells so good. I get this from a shop called savers.

Last step is to moisturise, this is really important just to make sure the tan is not streaky and is all smoothen. I use the soap and glory body buttercream also in the sugar crush scent i'm pretty sure I got the two in a set! This body butter is amazingly creamy and leaves my skin feeling so smooth, even if I wasn't tanning I still use this after my baths/showers because it is such a lovely product and also smells amazing (can't get enough) I surprisingly have a lot left and I use this an awful lot so it lasts a long time. I am pretty sure as I said these soap and glory products came in a set from boots, Boots sell all the amazing soap and glory products so I definitely recommend :)

Here is a final picture of how my legs turned out, I love this routine leaves me feeling so bronzy, glowy, and a lot better than I started off!

So that's how I do it!
If you have any questions about products etc leave a comment below!
Also I will try my best to make up on the amount of blogposts i'm not doing, I work 5/6 days a week and it's sometimes hard to find time but I'm sure if people read I'll be getting the motivation :)

Orlando Blues

Earlier this year (August to be exact) I went to one of my favourite places in the world, Orlando.
This was my last big proper family holiday as now me and my sisters are getting older and will be going on our own holidays. I absolutely love everything about America and would love to live there especially Florida.

I decided to do this because I was flicking through pictures of my holiday and I thought I'd share with you some of my favourite pictures from the holiday.

definitely miss the sun although it was extremely humid and hot when we went in August and there were a fair few thunderstorms in the evenings!

ft. dad.. I don't know why i like this picture, I just do.

ice bucket challenge was definitely a must when we was out in the 30-40 degree heat(sox mum)
american breakfasts are my absolute favourite, yum. (ps i miss you )
We didn't go to the disney parks this year because we are all older and have been the last times we went, we did however visit universal a hell of a lot! We even stayed over in the universal hotel for a night, got complementary fast passes for 2 days and also got to enter the park an hour earlier. If you go to Orlando and want to go to universal I definitely recommend it especially for the harry potter rides.. people waited insane lengths of time for those!

PS - (sorry about how long it took to post a new blog post "oops")
PS(S)- this is nothing to do with christmas and i'm sad about that but this was a saved post which I drafted because I knew i'd need to use it when I have no time because I work way too much okay bye

Christmas is coming

I decided to do my blogpost on a monday instead of sunday this week purely because I wanted to do a christmas themed blogpost and what better time than the 1st of december!
Heres some pictures of how i've decorated my room..

Candle- Primark
Star fairy lights- primark
Jar- poundland

This year I really wanted to decorate my room all christmassy with fair lights and candles, I picked all this up from primark and pound land and asda,  they were all soo inexpensive ranged from £2-£3.50.

These jars are the absolute cutest I fell in love with them looking for decor I decided pound land would maybe have a few bits and these two jars stood out for me they're so simple but look so cute! I decided I would put my favourite christmassy yankee candle scent in them, christmas treats.. And yes they smell just like christmas treats I want to eat this candle. I also thought about getting more of these little jars and putting candy canes in them, just an idea!

 Heart bed sheets- Tesco
Pillows- primark
Throw- primark (last year)
Fairy lights- Asda
Magnetic pinboard- Ikea

My bedding I got a while ago, I did buy a christmassy tartan bedding but it doesn't really match my throw and pillows so i decided to put on my monochrome heart bedding. I absolutely love fairy lights even when it's not christmas it just makes a room look so much more cosy at night times and you don't have to keep your bedroom light on which is a bonus!

Slippers- Primark
Laptop- Macbook pro
Mug- Disneyland paris (obv)

On my typical december evening I will make a cup of coffee/tea whichever I fancy at the time!
I will then turn on a spotify playlist chill and drink my hot drink with my candles burning, perfect :)
