Fashion/Beauty Haul!

Hello lovely readers,

So I have realised I have a very busy/eventful August and it's causing me to stress just slightly. How do I cope with stress or any emotion for that matter.. shopping of course. This isn't a huge haul but just a few bits and bobs I have recently purchased and wanted to show you.

Starting off with these insanely cute pyjamas I picked up from Primark.
I am going away for a long weekend with my boyfriends family and decided i'd need to buy some pyjamas as I literally own none now and when I saw these I fell in love so cute and comfy.

Next item I had been eyeing up for so long, every time I went into new look I saw this top I just didn't want to pay £20 for it but when I saw it in the sale for half the price I was beyond happy. I love the burnt orange colour and the gypsy style.

I also bought this steal from the new look sale, believe it or not this is a size 16 I am usually an 8 in tops however with a bandeau underneath everything is fine! This top is so pretty especially the back which is tied but then has a split open back.

Continuing on with the 'open back' theme of top, I got this one from boohoo it's really simple white cami with a low back. I do love this however I didn't realise how sheer it was so i'm going to pair this with a bandeau and it looks really pretty.
(i'm so sorry about the creases >:(  )

This bra let was also from boohoo, I just wanted to get this to wear under low cut tops which I  have quite a few of. I do like this however it isn't the best quality but I guess you get what you pay for!
Cheap and cheerful.

These are the bandeaus that I will be wearing with the tops, the grey will go with both but obviously the neon orange I'll only be able to wear with the white top. They were super cheap from Primark and work wonders!

Onto beauty, I got this from super drug the sleek counter and this is the highlighting palette. I'm really into highlighting my cheekbones and and strong contour at the moment and I wanted a good highlight. This palette has 4 highlights and I've used it once and I'm absolutely loving it so far. They are all cream highlighters except the darkest shade on the bottom right.

Here's a photo I took after using it.
This is obviously quite subtle and I am very pale, however, I think with a tan some bronzed up cheeks and the highlight it will look amazing. I can't wait to have a night out just to do my make up with this!

I have wanted a BB cream for SO long, I really don't get on with foundation it's never the right match and I don't like the way it feels on my face. This is heaven. It's so light on your skin but still has coverage and actually matches my skin. I'm so happy I got it.

I also wanted to try a new concealer, of course I got rimmel because they are my all time favourite drugstore make up brand. I've also only used this once but my first impressions of it are pretty good. It does the job, I like it! I got it in the lightest colour because I'm pale af :(  Also I just like getting the lightest that a concealer does so I can also highlight with it.

Pug Pjama Top- Primark £4
Pug Pjama bottoms- Primark £6
Gyspy style top- New look £9 in sale
Dark pink/red top open back- New look £8 in sale
White low back top- Boohoo £10
Black bra let- Boohoo £8
Bandeaus- Primark £1.50 each
Sleek highlighting palette- Superdrug £9.99
Rimmel BB cream- Superdrug £4.99
Match perfection concealer- Asda £4.97

And that concludes the haul!
I really want to start doing try on pictures so pictures with the clothes I buy but wearing them with someone taking the pictures of me. I'm not sure if that's something my blog readers would like to see if it is then please leave me a comment below if you can't comment for any reason email me on paisleysx@hotmail.co.uk I'd love to hear from you!

Summer evening outfit!

Hello lovely readers,
It's my mum's birthday today and tonight we are going out for a meal.
The weather isn't that great it's quite cloudy, however, it's still pretty warm out so I thought I'd show you the outfit I'll be wearing. These type of blogposts are usually my favourites to do so you'll realise I have done quite a few.

I decided to wear some denim shorts with a brown belt along with my quarter sleeve top which is quite warm. I thought i'd pair these two together because it's still warm but not warm enough to wear something like a halter top which is probably what I would have gone with if it were warmer.
I absolutely love this top it's so bohemian style with big lace sleeves, it's also just really soft and comfy to wear.

The first choice of shoes I thought would go with outfit were these sandals, they match the colour of my top and are just really pretty and were super cheap! I think these would be a lot better if I were going out somewhere for the day and if it were a bit warmer out.

The shoes I will be wearing are my white slip on vans because they are more weather appropriate, I love them!

The necklace I'm wearing is my swarvoski necklace which my boyfriend got me for christmas, it's really simple and pretty.

I am also wearing a really simple ring which is just a light blue stone with gold hardware.

Finishing off with my make up, it's really subtle and light. I've tried to achieve a duey bronzy kind of make uo look with rose gold tone on my eyes and nude lip.

Top- Boohoo £14
Shorts- Topshop £28
Sandals- Primark £6
Vans- soletrader £39
Ring- Primark £2

FujiFilm Instax share printer review!

Hello lovely readers,
Today I'm going to do a review on the instax share printer by fujifilm which is a device which allows you to print any pictures you have on any of your devices, phones, iPads etc.. onto little polaroids!
I really don't know why I haven't done this sooner as I got this for my 19th birthday in April, I wasn't expecting to get this present as I didn't actually ask for it specifically, however, I've seen them and really wanted to get one. My mum knows how much I love taking photos and I had previously mentioned I'd love to have a full wall just of polaroid pictures.

Firstly I want to talk about how easy it is to set up, it comes with instructions to set it all up with all information of how to get the paper in correctly and all that jazz. All you have to do is turn the printer on and connect to it's wifi on your wifi settings on your phone/ipad/tablet whatever you're using. You have to download an app from the App Store which is called instax share and from there it's pretty simple!

You have a few options you can get the pictures from your camera roll or a social media website, once you have selected a picture you can make the picture landscape or portrait (personally I prefer portrait), you can crop the picture, put on a filter, add text to the bottom. A cute idea is actually putting the dates on the bottom which I was going to do but I may write them on with pen I haven't actually decided.

Don't get me wrong the normal polaroid cameras are amazing but the reason I love this printer so much is you can choose pictures you know you love whereas with the normal polaroids once you've taken the picture there's no going back and if you don't like the picture it's wasted one of your polaroid papers and you're stuck with it, ya feel me?
My boyfriend bought me and polaroid camera and I love it, I think they're a lot better for taking candid pictures of things, not that great for selfies.

As you can see the printer is really small and simple, It's easy to pack and take with you if you were going anywhere although I find that you don't really need to take it anywhere because you take all the photos on your normal devices.

The only downside to these is that the paper obviously isn't the cheapest to buy and I will have to buy some more paper because I only got 20 sheets with mine. Totally worth it though!

I am in love with it and think it's 100% worth the money.
(To clarify this isn't sponsored as I've already mentioned I got it for my birthday just wanted to let everyone know my opinions incase you're thinking of purchasing)

I also wanted to add to this blogpost I recently received a message saying that someone had been trying to post comments on my post's and it wouldn't allow them to do so. I'm trying really hard to find out why this is, if you try to comment on this post and it doesn't allow it still please let me know somehow so I know. If it does allow the comment let me know what you think of the instax printer if you own one!

Oufit/Hair of the evening!

Hello lovely readers,
The other day I went to watch a show my boyfriend was in and decided I  really liked the outfit I wore and the way I did my hair, so I decided to take some pictures to put them into a post. This is one of those really basic "OOTN" posts although, I really seeing these posts and they would always catch my eye. I love seeing how people style outfits so I'm hoping a fair few people will like this post!

I know this isn't the best full view but I didn't have anyone to take a full length photo of me, also I am aware my mirror is slightly dirty I do apologise. This is my full outfit I think it's so pretty and casual but it still looks quite put together.

Here's a picture of the top, It is sooooo pretty I love it and it's from primark so even better cheap and cheerful, I literally love the way it flows down the back is a lot longer than the front which is really flattering too. I am loving this pale pink at the moment, I actually had to get this top in a size 12 as it was the smallest size they had but surprisingly I really love the way it fits me even though it is slightly oversized.

The jeans I'm wearing are from Forever21 and these are the most flattering skinny jeans aswell as being the perfect blue denim colour, they are high waisted which I am all about and they just fit amazingly! My shoes are a recent purchase they're leather white vans with tiny little holes in them. Originally I wanted the normal white vans just the canvas style but they didn't have them in my size, sadly. I opted for the leather ones which in hindsight are actually a lot more sensible as I will wear them a lot and the
leather will be a lot easier to clean if they get dirty especially as they're white.

As for my hair what I did was first curl it with my straighteners, I brushed the curls out so they weren't as tight. I then french plait at the front of both sides of my head and tied them together with a small hairband. I flipped the end where the plaits were tied over so it created a pretty twisted look at the back. (so hard to explain but I hope you get it)

This is perfect for going out if you have hair that constantly gets in your face because it ties it back and out of the way but also still looks really pretty in my opinion.

Top- Primark £8
Necklace- Primark £2
Jeans- Forever21 £15
Vans- Soletrader £39

Happy Fathers Day!

Hello lovely readers,
It's Fathers day,  so I thought I'd do a blogpost just for my dad as it just would make sense.
I am so grateful and thankful to have been raised by two amazing parents who are still together now, I feel lucky to have a dad who has always supported me through anything I've wanted to do and never questioned it.

I've realised as I have gotten older I take everything more for granted, both my parents dads (my granddads) passed away in there late 50's early 60's. Days like this I realise they can't go give their dad a massive hug, a bottle of whiskey and a funny card, they're no longer around. It really puts things into perspective for me it shouldn't have to just be days like today where I give my dad a hug and tell him how much I appreciate him. I should do it most days.

I know a lot of people dads aren't around anymore or they never knew them and in that case go give your mum a huge hug!

In a nutshell I just wanted to say appreciate every moment you have with your dad because you never know what the future holds, and dad you're the best dad I could ever ask for so Happy Fathers Day I love you!

Ideal Summer Outfit

Hello lovely readers,

It's June, can you believe it?
It would definitely be hard to believe a couple of days ago when we had severe winds and heavy showers. The weather in England can never make up it's mind and today we had highs of around 23 degrees Celsius, which to people who live in hotter countries would be seen as "warm" however in England it's an invitation for hot pants and a crop top showing as much flesh as humanly possible.

Since it is coming into the summer months I thought I'd do my take on an 'Ideal summer outfit'. Obviously this may not be everyone's cup of tea but I thought I'd share!

Starting with this halter which is from New Look.
I think when I bought this I went into New Look with the intention of buying something which I specifically needed, and then I saw this top. I couldn't not get it especially as it was right before my holiday I felt like I had to. I absolutely love it, I have a fair few tops and i've come to realise a lot of them are cropped, which I like. However, this top is cropped but not overly cropped so I really like where this sits when I wear high waisted shorts/skirts/jeans.
Halter tops are definitely going to be one of my favourite things to wear this summer.

I have been seeing so many of these style of skirts around recently and I really wanted to buy one, I looked online at topshop and they were a little on the pricey side so I decided I could live without one. I was then shopping online at Boohoo.com and found this one almost identical!
I was so pleasantly surprised that I found this and it was so much cheaper. #winning
The fit is not exactly pencil or A line, it's somewhere in between if that makes any sense!
This is perfect for the summer because it's such a lightweight denim so it's really easy wearing.
(I put the belt on as I thought it looked a lot nicer with a belt)

My necklace is from Primark.
It's so dainty, pretty and simple which is everything I love in a necklace.
I am currently really into dainty simple jewellery especially when it comes to necklaces!

I didn't take a picture of the shoes I would wear but I think I'd go for my tanned sandals or white toms, depending on where I were going on the day!

Halter Top- New look £7.99
Skirt- Boohoo £15
Necklace- Primark £2

Go to bronzed make up look!

Hello lovely readers,

As my recent blogposts have been mostly based on clothes/fashion I decided to show you my go to bronzed make up look. Contouring and bronzed duey skin has been really in recently, I certainly love bronzed looking skin. I am just going to talk through what I do and show what products I am currently using, also most of these items are drugstore so very affordable!!

Believe it or not I did not use foundation at all in this make up look, my skin isn't too pale at the moment because of my holiday so I am trying not to use it!

I started off with my rimmel wake me up concealer I have mentioned this in previous blogposts I really love it and always repurchase it, I am yet to try a new one. I use this on all of my breakouts or imperfections, I use my real techniques beauty blender to blend this out.

I forgot to add this in the picture but for my brows I used a rimmel eyebrow pencil in the colour hazel.

For my eyes I used my mac paint pot in 'vintage selection' I absolutely love it, it's so perfect and very very subtle on the eyes you can barely notice it's there but it gives a lovely base shimmer. I used a tiny amount of the 3rd brown along on the left of my revolution palette just to darken the crease slightly, not that you can really tell in the picture.

I used rimmel lash accelorator endless which I adore, my favourite mascara as of right now.

Onto my bronzer/contour, the rimmel sun kissed bronzer in medium matte I use as a contour so I use my contour real technique brush to apply that to my cheekbones, temples
and down the nose. The rimmel dream sun bronzer/blush I use on my cheeks and dust over my face to bronze it up a little. For all this I used my big fluffy blush brush from real techniques.

Excuse the quality of my pictures, the flash on my dslr wasn't working annoyingly.

I then go in with my cocealer again to highlight under my eyes down my nose and on my chin.

The highlighter I used is ALSO from rimmel, can you tell I like rimmel make up?
It's called Good to glow highlighter in 001, I recently got this and wasn't really sure on it because it is ridiculously shimmery. However, I really love how it turned out in this look I applied it to the highs of my cheeks, cupids bow, brow bone, down my nose, and the inner corners of my eyes.

Lastly on my lips is the no7 high shine lip crayon it doesn't actually have the name of the colour on it but it's a really pretty pinky nude it's gives an amazing shine but very very natural.

And that's all!
It's really simple and you could do this for an everyday casual look, you could also turn it into a more night time look by darkening the eyes, put on some eyelashes and use a bolder lip colour.
I absolutely love this it's so natural looking and bronze/highlighted is the way to go!
Incase you're wondering my top is from topshop it was £6.

If you want to ask any more questions about the products/look just leave me a comment I'd love to hear them, I'd also love to know what you think of this look.
