Oufit/Hair of the evening!

Hello lovely readers,
The other day I went to watch a show my boyfriend was in and decided I  really liked the outfit I wore and the way I did my hair, so I decided to take some pictures to put them into a post. This is one of those really basic "OOTN" posts although, I really seeing these posts and they would always catch my eye. I love seeing how people style outfits so I'm hoping a fair few people will like this post!

I know this isn't the best full view but I didn't have anyone to take a full length photo of me, also I am aware my mirror is slightly dirty I do apologise. This is my full outfit I think it's so pretty and casual but it still looks quite put together.

Here's a picture of the top, It is sooooo pretty I love it and it's from primark so even better cheap and cheerful, I literally love the way it flows down the back is a lot longer than the front which is really flattering too. I am loving this pale pink at the moment, I actually had to get this top in a size 12 as it was the smallest size they had but surprisingly I really love the way it fits me even though it is slightly oversized.

The jeans I'm wearing are from Forever21 and these are the most flattering skinny jeans aswell as being the perfect blue denim colour, they are high waisted which I am all about and they just fit amazingly! My shoes are a recent purchase they're leather white vans with tiny little holes in them. Originally I wanted the normal white vans just the canvas style but they didn't have them in my size, sadly. I opted for the leather ones which in hindsight are actually a lot more sensible as I will wear them a lot and the
leather will be a lot easier to clean if they get dirty especially as they're white.

As for my hair what I did was first curl it with my straighteners, I brushed the curls out so they weren't as tight. I then french plait at the front of both sides of my head and tied them together with a small hairband. I flipped the end where the plaits were tied over so it created a pretty twisted look at the back. (so hard to explain but I hope you get it)

This is perfect for going out if you have hair that constantly gets in your face because it ties it back and out of the way but also still looks really pretty in my opinion.

Happy Fathers Day!

Hello lovely readers,
It's Fathers day,  so I thought I'd do a blogpost just for my dad as it just would make sense.
I am so grateful and thankful to have been raised by two amazing parents who are still together now, I feel lucky to have a dad who has always supported me through anything I've wanted to do and never questioned it.

I've realised as I have gotten older I take everything more for granted, both my parents dads (my granddads) passed away in there late 50's early 60's. Days like this I realise they can't go give their dad a massive hug, a bottle of whiskey and a funny card, they're no longer around. It really puts things into perspective for me it shouldn't have to just be days like today where I give my dad a hug and tell him how much I appreciate him. I should do it most days.

I know a lot of people dads aren't around anymore or they never knew them and in that case go give your mum a huge hug!

In a nutshell I just wanted to say appreciate every moment you have with your dad because you never know what the future holds, and dad you're the best dad I could ever ask for so Happy Fathers Day I love you!

Ideal Summer Outfit

Hello lovely readers,

It's June, can you believe it?
It would definitely be hard to believe a couple of days ago when we had severe winds and heavy showers. The weather in England can never make up it's mind and today we had highs of around 23 degrees Celsius, which to people who live in hotter countries would be seen as "warm" however in England it's an invitation for hot pants and a crop top showing as much flesh as humanly possible.

Since it is coming into the summer months I thought I'd do my take on an 'Ideal summer outfit'. Obviously this may not be everyone's cup of tea but I thought I'd share!

Starting with this halter which is from New Look.
I think when I bought this I went into New Look with the intention of buying something which I specifically needed, and then I saw this top. I couldn't not get it especially as it was right before my holiday I felt like I had to. I absolutely love it, I have a fair few tops and i've come to realise a lot of them are cropped, which I like. However, this top is cropped but not overly cropped so I really like where this sits when I wear high waisted shorts/skirts/jeans.
Halter tops are definitely going to be one of my favourite things to wear this summer.

I have been seeing so many of these style of skirts around recently and I really wanted to buy one, I looked online at topshop and they were a little on the pricey side so I decided I could live without one. I was then shopping online at Boohoo.com and found this one almost identical!
I was so pleasantly surprised that I found this and it was so much cheaper. #winning
The fit is not exactly pencil or A line, it's somewhere in between if that makes any sense!
This is perfect for the summer because it's such a lightweight denim so it's really easy wearing.
(I put the belt on as I thought it looked a lot nicer with a belt)

My necklace is from Primark.
It's so dainty, pretty and simple which is everything I love in a necklace.
I am currently really into dainty simple jewellery especially when it comes to necklaces!

I didn't take a picture of the shoes I would wear but I think I'd go for my tanned sandals or white toms, depending on where I were going on the day!

Go to bronzed make up look!

Hello lovely readers,

As my recent blogposts have been mostly based on clothes/fashion I decided to show you my go to bronzed make up look. Contouring and bronzed duey skin has been really in recently, I certainly love bronzed looking skin. I am just going to talk through what I do and show what products I am currently using, also most of these items are drugstore so very affordable!!

Believe it or not I did not use foundation at all in this make up look, my skin isn't too pale at the moment because of my holiday so I am trying not to use it!

I started off with my rimmel wake me up concealer I have mentioned this in previous blogposts I really love it and always repurchase it, I am yet to try a new one. I use this on all of my breakouts or imperfections, I use my real techniques beauty blender to blend this out.

I forgot to add this in the picture but for my brows I used a rimmel eyebrow pencil in the colour hazel.

For my eyes I used my mac paint pot in 'vintage selection' I absolutely love it, it's so perfect and very very subtle on the eyes you can barely notice it's there but it gives a lovely base shimmer. I used a tiny amount of the 3rd brown along on the left of my revolution palette just to darken the crease slightly, not that you can really tell in the picture.

I used rimmel lash accelorator endless which I adore, my favourite mascara as of right now.

Onto my bronzer/contour, the rimmel sun kissed bronzer in medium matte I use as a contour so I use my contour real technique brush to apply that to my cheekbones, temples
and down the nose. The rimmel dream sun bronzer/blush I use on my cheeks and dust over my face to bronze it up a little. For all this I used my big fluffy blush brush from real techniques.

Excuse the quality of my pictures, the flash on my dslr wasn't working annoyingly.

I then go in with my cocealer again to highlight under my eyes down my nose and on my chin.

The highlighter I used is ALSO from rimmel, can you tell I like rimmel make up?
It's called Good to glow highlighter in 001, I recently got this and wasn't really sure on it because it is ridiculously shimmery. However, I really love how it turned out in this look I applied it to the highs of my cheeks, cupids bow, brow bone, down my nose, and the inner corners of my eyes.

Lastly on my lips is the no7 high shine lip crayon it doesn't actually have the name of the colour on it but it's a really pretty pinky nude it's gives an amazing shine but very very natural.

And that's all!
It's really simple and you could do this for an everyday casual look, you could also turn it into a more night time look by darkening the eyes, put on some eyelashes and use a bolder lip colour.
I absolutely love this it's so natural looking and bronze/highlighted is the way to go!
Incase you're wondering my top is from topshop it was £6.

If you want to ask any more questions about the products/look just leave me a comment I'd love to hear them, I'd also love to know what you think of this look.
